Third, the working principle of drum dryer
The material to be dried is conveyed to the hopper by belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then enters the charging end through the charging pipe by the hopper feeder. The slope of the feeding pipe should be greater than the natural inclination of the material, so that the material can flow smoothly into the dryer. The dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder that is slightly inclined to the horizontal. The material is added from the higher end, and the heat carrier enters from the lower end, and contacts with the material in countercurrent. With the rotation of the cylinder, the material is moved to the lower end by gravity. Wet material in the cylinder forward movement process, directly or indirectly by the heat medium to heat, so that wet materials can be dried, and then at the discharge end through the belt conveyor or screw conveyor sent out.
Acopy plate is installed on the inner wall of the drum dryer, and its function is to copy the material and scatter it, so that the contact surface between the material and the airflow increases, so as to improve the drying rate and promote the material to advance. Heat carriers are generally divided into hot air, flue gas, etc. After the heat carrier passes through the dryer, a cyclone dust collector is generally required to collect the materials carried in the gas.
